TELEMARKETING REPRESENTATIVES
The Intersoft Group, Inc. is an 18-year old, award winning Web Design & Development firm based in Beachwood, Ohio. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, outgoing, energetic, Telemarketer to prospect new clientele from the following industries:
- B2B
- Retail
- Financial
- Real Estate
- Non Profit
- Manufacturing
- And others!
Job Description:
You will be responsible for contacting potential customers by telephone and delivering a sales pitch which may include reading from scripts to persuade customers to purchase a product or service. While on the phone you will need to obtain customers’ information such as company name, contact name, address, and entering orders or follow-up calls into the computer. You will also need to explain our products, services, pricing, benefits and answer any questions from the customers. You may also need to carry out market research, walk-in sales and attend business trade shows requiring some travel.
Job Requirements:
- Able to identify key decision makers.
- Build sales pipeline.
- Respond to inbound telephone inquiries.
- Maintain current account relationships for up-sale possibilities.
- Actively collaborate and listen with other members of the company and the customer to properly meet their needs.
- Describe all the product or service benefits we offer and any specials at the time. Then give the customer advice about how these may benefit them personally.
- Persuade customers to schedule a call from a Sales Representative or view a demo.
- Talk with the customer to gather and document any needed information about them.
- Enter all your notes into a computer, including dates for follow up calls, etc.
- Report directly to the Sales Manager.
- All accounts are handled over the telephone or by email in an office environment, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.
- Other miscellaneous duties, such as, but not limited to surfing the web to research topics when necessary; assist in marketing & advertising; assist in office work; attend advertising meetings to brainstorm ideas, attend trade shows and complete any additional tasks or responsibilities that management assigns.
Skills/Requirements
- Highly energetic individual -- a true "go getter".
- Positive Thinker.
- Excellent communication via telephone, email and in person.
- Basic computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced working environment with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Maintain active listening skills to give your full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Have a desire to be involved in creating a nationally recognized Internet Web Development company.
- 1 to 3 years' experience in cold calling preferred but not necessary
